I reacently was given a assignment in one of the classes that I take for my spiritual growth . This is what the Lord gave me !
A thought went up my mind to-day
That I have had before,
But did not finish,--some way back,
I could not fix the year,
Nor where it went, nor why it came
The second time to me,
Nor definitely what it was,
Have I the art to say.
But somewhere in my soul, I know
I've met the thing before;
It just reminded me--'t was all--
And came my way no more.

This particular poem entitled a thought went up my mind to-day written by Emily Dickinson as I read it began to hit my spirit! There were several things that stuck out to me as I began to read this poem. First I began to think a mind and God spoke to me to look up the word mind! The definition of the word mind means the human consciousness that originates in the brain and is manifested especially in thought, perception, feeling, will, memory, or imagination. (The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language) God stated to me as I reflected on this definition that there were thoughts as well as ideas that he has given to certain people in the body of Christ but because we thought it was us we did not know! But because he wanted us to know that it was him he filed it away on a disk in our mind as a draft waiting for it to come to manifest or uploaded at the right time! That goes along with the poem because it refers to the part of the poem that reads Nor where it went, nor why it came the second time to me , nor definitely what it was , Have I the art to say. The scripture that came into my spirit to go along with this prophetic word was as following:
ISA 41:13 for I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. This Scripture simply is saying that whatever thought or assignment that the Lord has given us in the body of Christ that he will be right there to assist us with the assignment. God began to go on to say that the more you trust the thoughts that he places in your mind then he can trust you to go to the next dimension . Because this is some individuals second and third time this is also your last time in order for you to finish this assignment out. The other scripture that came to me while reflecting on this poem is God does not give us the spirit of fear but of power love and a sound mind. This scripture parallels with the previous scripture that I used to remind you that you never have to be hesitant in anything that God gives you because he Loves you enough not to be successful in anything that he continuously tells you as a individual in the Kingdom of God !
