Real Gold
Real Gold
There was time in my
life when I was looking for love in the wrong places because of past hurts and
low self-esteem. However, as I go through this journey of life God gave me
these two words as I was having some quality time with him. The two words were Real Gold then he said that
I am just as valuable as pure gold. So I
began to reflect on what gold is referred to in society and when individuals
connect gold with money. However, I God said that you have something more
important to offer then money that is your personality, your character and the
talents that I have given you. You are a
valuable asset to the Kingdom of God. So
I went to the bible and in Rev 3:18 I it reads as follows “counsel thee to buy
of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that
thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and
anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.” (KJV)This scripture simply is saying that God
created gold and silver for a purpose. So as it is in the spirit it is in the
natural when God created us he designs us to have purpose and destiny! So just
like gold, we had to go through a process to get to the best quality to be seen
as pure gold and not fool’s gold. God started showing me through all the
heartache, and rejection that I have went through over the years that he was refining
me so that would get to a point where I would be able to share with others that
GOD can and he will heal you from any broken bridges it just takes a time of
yielding to him. But during the process
you cannot take any shortcuts because if you do you will not be pure and you do
not want anything to hinder you from getting to the destiny that GOD has for
you according to Jeremiah 29:11. So as
you are going through your process, I am going to tell you that it is not
always going to feel good because you still have to keep moving forward so you
will not become handicapped emotionally. You may ask how can somebody become
handicapped emotionally well I am here to testify that you can become
emotionally handicapped by not allowing yourself to feel the hurt , the
insecurity and the church hurt , by
placing a wall up that nobody can get in .
I did it for so long that it became natural for me not to cry when
someone hurt me because I did not want to be seen as vulnerable to anyone. I
was in a crowd of people but felt alone and that is the most horrible feeling
in the world. Then one day I was ministered
to by my Apostle Debra Giles she began
to tell me that it was okay to show my real emotions that crying was a way to release the hurt ! She said
one phrase that stuck with If you can Take it You can Make it. Back then it was a slogan for her life but I
took it for myself. I began to see that I
am a warrior for Christ that I am a fighter .
So I am going to pass that to you although you feel like you can not take anything else going wrong in your
life know that you can because GOD has
equipped you to fight and to overcome every obstacle in your life.
